If you have tried the CVS plastic backed diaper there about the same, I use usually 2 mirofiber towels in them and they take a pertty good wetting all at once, if you interested let me know I tell you how to fold the towels so they work better.

I don't think they sell the plastic backed CVS anymore...I would buy them if I saw them

They're cloth-backed (which, to me, is something that I don't care about), but they're considerably thick and sturdy compared to other generic pharmacy brands. They don't fall apart nearly as easily as you find other name-brand pharmacy diapers doing. They've got two tapes on either side. I buy the largest ones I can just so they're not insanely tight, and they end up coming out extremely comfortable.

Let me know if you try them, and what you think about them!

I just wanted to point out that Attends sells in Canada as well.. check their website and see if they have a retailer near you.

If you can find Attends, then that's an obvious good option. Otherwise, Depends Fitted Maximum Protection are alright. They are pretty absorbent, and though they're not the best diaper, they are easy to find and not too expensive and they fit fine.

CVS baby diaper in a Depend, all the comfort and security of a brief with the absorbency of a double diaper! I like that the most, if not just go for the Attends if you can't get imported.

I have to add that I have been wearing the most absorbent Tena pull ups and they seem to work really nicely. They are comfy and quite absorbent, so though they're not a "real" diaper, they are actually quite a good option.

Depends are very good if you get the right ones. They're very good for a tight budget.

Pojo, most of the store brand briefs are all made by one manufacturer. CVS, Walgreens, Eckerd, Rite Aid, and a few others are all made by Tyco Healthcare, and are different variations on Tyco's Kendall institutional quality briefs.

What does this mean?

It means that while they are reasonably soft, white, and crinkly (and can be made to resemble baby diapers... the primary reason people like them), they aren't very absorbent, and the padding area is small. Depends are definitely better, as they have more padding, more gel in the padding for better absorbency, a wider crotch, stronger elastic in the leg gathers, and three tapes instead of two.

The one good store brand are the Members Mark briefs from Sam's Club. They're similar to a Tranquility in quality.

Add wal-mart to the list too. I'm glad someone else has figured this out.
