I don't like falling apart, but I love how Abri's look, I guess when I get the money and the car I will just have to try it out.

To repeat what was said above, it won't work with the same size, it is better to use 2 separately even though thicker is better. If you really want it to work get your size and the next larger one.

Layering for extra thickness is really more about the fun aspect that it is about the extra absorbancy. Being padded up that thickly can be quite kinky... and it's nice to do on occasion. I haven't ever tried layering diapers like X-plus or the Drys... but I have worn 3-4 Attends before... inner ones medium, with a large on the outside to cover it all. That worked pretty well.

Like someone else alluded, doubling up doesn't work too well when you use the same size diapers. With Abenas, the inner diaper will expand so much that it lifts the leg gathers of the outer diaper off your legs, causing leaks.

Using a cheaper (thinner) diaper inside the Abena will help, but for the ULTIMATE super-duper diaper, try wearing an Abena small, medium, and large all at once. Going up in sizes as you layer up ensures the crotch area is wider than the diaper underneath, eliminating the leg gather issue.

Last time I did this, it made for a HUGE diaper, and IIRC, it lasted me the better part of 2 days without a leak, before the diaper got so thick and heavy it started to cut the circulation off to my legs. LOL

I consider doubling a waste. Think about it. You have two diapers the same size on, if it starts leaking at the leg cuffs, what's to stop the other diaper getting ruined if it has the same design?
