How did you get diapers before you started buying?

I'm a bed wetter, so my parents have always bought my diapers. I like luvs the best. Pull-ups were good too.

When I was 12, My Step sister lived with us and she just had a kid. So I use to sneak some diapers out of her room when she was gone. I did it for a while till my parents found some used ones under my bed. So my step sister went and bought a deadbolt for her door to keep me out. My parents asked me what was going on so I told them I liked wearing diapers and they thought I was lieing to them and wouldnt take that as an answer. So I told them I wet the bed. They believed me and bought me a mattress cover and and a matress pad but no diapers. I finally convinced my dad to buy me a pack of baby diapers which was cool. After my grandfather passed away, I lived with my grandmal to go to highschool to help take care of her. She also thought I wet the bed so she would buy me diapers anytime I need them and any kind out of the store. At 19 I started to buy my own. My parents dont care about me wearing diapers anymore.

Same here. Until my parents and I moved to the current house we are living in, there weren't any stores that were close enough for me to bike to. Now, there is a CVS about a mile from my house.

I remember one day I was sitting on my front stoop when I saw a van drive by and something fly off its roof. A random neighborhood kid ran towards the box and opened it, but ran away soon afterwards. I checked it out myself a few minutes later and my heart nearly shot out of my chest when I found a whole tackle box (Odd place to put em) filled with diapers and supplies.

Course, I couldn't take them in broad daylight, so I went back home and watched the box for the whole day. No one picked it up, so at night I sneaked out and grabbed the box. That was the first experience I had with disposables, previously I was just using homemades from blankets and garbage bags

I pretty much improvised with towels, a few layers of underwear, old t-shirts etc. I never actually used these, but was able to get the feeling that goes along with it.

stole the odd nappy from younger cousin, well its only fair as my mum gave my old terry nappies to my auntie for my older cousin and she used sposies on my younger cousin so i thought it was justifiable to nick some! also stole them from others i used to know a few girls who babysat and i wnet to the house with them and stole some there, and i improvised with carrier bags with holes cut in stuffed with old towels or toilet paper! then one night i was walking back to a freinds house and saw several large white rectangles laying on the floor as i got closer i could see they were nappies, BIG adult nappies, this was when i first discovered they made adult size nappies i really wanted them, they were unused and still folded but somehow were just discarded on the pavement, but i was with freinds so couldnt get them, only i did, its amazing how quickly a ab can plan something when hes desparate for nappies, i told them to walk on a bit and i would catch up as i needed a pee and was gonna go behind a bush, so they walked on a bit and i quickly grabbed the nappies, stashed them under the bush and retreived them later on my way home! but that was my last experience with adult nappies until several years later as i didnt know where to get them from, but by that time i was using my pocket money to buy pampers, they didnt fit but i enjoyed having them beteween my legs feeling the crinkly plastic and the padding and seeing the cute teddy pictures
