Have fun at the concert! I still have yet to go to my frist. If I could choose a band to loose my 'concert virginity' to it would definitely be Avenged Sevenfold or Cobra Starship. Too bad they're not touring anywhere near me.
Anyway, that's too bad about the diapers. Don't waste your money on those anymore.

Well... we made it back alive... what an experience. I think my ears are still ringing from the noise. The bands were good... the opening act "Black Rebel Motorcycle Club" was fantastic... great rock with just a bit of country twang in the guitar.
STP... ehh... bleh. They came on stage an hour late... it was so noisy I couldn't really make out any of the songs. I did thorougly enjoy the free beer (I had 6)... but I think lawn seats would have been better for actually hearing the bands. The Dry 24/7 I wore put up with a lot of punishment... and was quite thoroughly soaked by the time we left. I actually took it off in the back parking lot outside the show LOL. No leaks though... which was impressive considering the amount of fluids I drank before and during the show. As things stand now... I don't think I'm going to have any beer for the rest of the month. When I burp I can still taste Bud Light. Eeeewwww..... |

Ahhhhhhh, BRMC are one of my favourite bands ever. I love them. I'm not an STP fan, but with BRMC opening, I am officially jealous. All four of their full-length albums are amazing. Of course, when BRMC came to Vancouver they played an over 19 venue, which made me very angry. Oh the woes of being underage. What kind of a setup did BRMC use, because I read their drummer just recently left the group?

In other news... LG's parents came and stayed with us on Sunday night... they had a flight out to Vegas yesterday so they left their truck at our place. Funny thing happened... when we got in from the concert I went back into the bedroom and straight to bed. I put on one of my thick cloth diapers b/c I knew from the amount I drank that I was going to be wetting a lot. Sure enough... I woke up soaked yesterday morning. I took the wet diaper off and tossed it in the laundry room hamper like I always do... didn't really think too much about it. Well... when we got home last night... we noticed that there was a stack of clothes laying folded ontop of the dryer. LG's mom had kindly decided to do a load of laundry for us before leaving for the airport. I can only assume that she saw my wet diaper... as both clothes hampers had been sorted through and all of our jeans and t-shirts pulled out. Now I don't really care if LG's parents know about my diapers... we'll just have to see whether they say anything or not. |
