Guide to secure internet without losing speed via proxys!!

Ok im going to try and do something useful for once.

Im going to give you links to firefox and addons that will grant you security on the internet, without sacrificing speed using proxys.

First off, get firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Once installed download these add-ons, I will go into detail as to what they are;

TabRenamizor, this is simply put, a tab re-namer on firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2987

NoScript, this will block all scripts from accessing your computer, blocking anything trying to get in via (ex.) Javascript, etc.

HideBad, this tool closes the tabs on firefox and stores them in memory, at the push of a button, and replaces all the open tabs with your homepage, the closed tabs can be retrieved after what ever event caused you to close them first off. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1052

KeyscramblerPersonal, this tool will encrypt ALL keystrokes made on your computer while active, this is great because it helps provide security from keyloggers from unknown links. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3383

CSlite, simply this blocks cookies FROM all sites unless specified which sites not to block, another great tool to keep your security in check

Temporary Inbox, I LOVE this addon, it creates random disposible emails so you can anonymously sign up for sites, amazing add-on. and can get a lot of use.(this one is meant for non malicious purposes, such as if you want to sign up for sites were you dont want your email on) https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2650

Distrust, this is a addon that gives firefox private browsing, you turn it on and when you are done, turn it off and al your history will be deleted, this also works if you alt + f4 out of page, it will count that as turning off. VERY USEFUL. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1559

Pretty good, if your looking for something like a torrent or illegal game crack.

Since when was using Proxies secure? Then, again this isn't real computer security. More of protecting your privacy from your mum finding out.

Besides FireFox 3 is still a Beta, I'm happy with number 2.

But anyway, seems a good list to me. shame i don't need to try any of them out...

The things is that none of those things that you have said is a proxy they do not hide your i.p address which ever site you go onto records your i.p which can be used to search for which city your in so to be honest your title is a bit misleading sure they are good tips though some of them can be done in firefox without the add-ons.
