Well, heres the load out of my system to be built.

Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit
XFX nForce 680i LT SLI Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 Processor 2.20GHz
XFX GeForce 8400 GS Video Card - 512MB DDR2
Samsung SP2004C SpinPoint 200GB Hard Drive

(shut up about vista before you start... I really hate wine, and I still want my games..so muyeah!)

More mem, 64bit better card.

Just my thoughts, if your not caring about that, then should be a great system.

Core 2 Duo is a 64-bit chip. You really ought to get the 64-bit Vista release. Otherwise, sounds okay. Though, I'm an audiophile so I'm more interested in what sound card you are getting .

Nice lookin' system Drew, that looks like something I would get if I was looking right now. BTW I don't know how I feel about Samsung hard drives...maybe they've gotten better recently, I've just had bad experiences with them.

Heh, maybe thats just you. I have a 9 year old Samsung HD that works just as good as being freshly burnt in.
