School + Computers = *waste*!

My school (trinity college) rent/buy their acers for 3 yrs ( take them back and get new ones every 3 yrs in a rotation) and we got good IT professionals because were a big school that has a BIG network, we use xp professional Corporate for an OS(vista sucks and everyone can agree to that)
i don't remember the specs but my school doesn't waste their money on over powerful computers. i think these computers use 512mb ram have an 80gb hdd(C witch is not visable and we use a network with Partitions of about 300GB for things like the students partition on which the student (me) puts their work/media of wich i think theres a couple GB limit per student,theres a teacher partition andmin partition and some other partition, proxy's are blocked and they use network firewalls (netfox[NetFox]), theres a space in the bottom right hand corner in fluro green writing (size about 1/12th of the background).

so our school doesnt really waste their money on pc's their pc's are about $1,000 each so their good for like photoshop, web browsing, photoeditiong, ect, ect whatever you do on a school pc they can handle it fine.

and batch files are blocked, and installs are blocked.(i got workarounds for that tho like open .txt and write command.com save as .bat and there a batch file, blocked sites? my Uber Proxy i found works for that (except myspace as thats IP blocked aswell).installs blocked? i just right-click properties run in windows 95 compatability mode(as win 95 didnt have admin/limiteed accounts the install can't be stppoed because the install is running in win 95 and theres no limitations on it) so i can istall what ever i want.=P
