This game is awesome and I love it to death. But being from DC I was HIGLY disapointed by the game world. I mean the location of DC is great but I didnt feel that it captured DC well enough for instance the game is missing very many HUGE inacuracies in DC. Also the same sets were used over and over and over again for instance how there are only about five kinds of house styles.

Anyway I am a level 11 reaver and I highly recomend a trip to the national archives wink wink

I bought mine in Rivet City from a vendor. its pretty cheap for such a badass melee weapon. Its basically a one handed hedge trimmer that you can swing, or hold down attack and, you guessed it, rip continuously into your enemy =P. The VATS for it is cool two. I CQCed with a Super Mutant Brute, and "Ripped" him a new one

Remember, the fallout timeline splits around the 1950's. Bethesda states that any buildings built from the 1960's onward were either removed or drastically altered.

The future Fallout is set in is basically what would have happened if American society, values, culture, general world view, etc had remained pretty much static since the 1950s, with science and technology developing as they had predicted, making stuff like this completely accurate (the natural laws also conform to the scientific knowledge at the time).

Thats makes sense as to the art design of Vault Boy, and the designs of the cars in the wasteland
