Kraiden, those pictures are fucking phenomenal!

I'm not sure what kind of character I have yet. I've played for almost 20 hours now, and I haven't even gone to the first leg of the main mission. I've been focusing on all of the side-missions and doing generally everything I can to squeeze time out of the game (I don't even auto-travel, no matter what.) It's an absolute blast, and pleasantly more different than I first expected.

Ooh, and the Ripper? Definitely my favorite weapon!

I wish I could show pics! I'll just happily settle for Kraiden's awesome ones!

It's made for screencapping. I spend hours (and I do mean hours) constantly reloading quicksaves to capture that specific moment in time that shows off a moment of badassery. I absolutely *love* videogames I can do that to. There's very few videogames that are made for taking awesome action screenshots, but fallout is simply made for it.

So Kraiden, I just got the Rock-It Launcher, so now that I've used it and the Power Fist, I have to disagree on the Power Fist being the best weapon, in favor of the Rock-It Launcher. VATSing the merc in Moira's store with a baseball to the face, watching his eyes close as blood goes everywhere...

Its priceless, yo.

PS, is that pre-war screencap part of the playable story plot thing?

I just got a flame throw and I nearly saved up enough bottle caps (954) for the rock-it launcher. I am about 3/5th way done with the main quest but I been going around killing raiders, monsters etc and being going to factory's. There's a lot of useful stuff in the factory's I swear. I highly suggest going to the robo corp near Tenpenny's tower.

Also in Megaton if you help fix the water pipes for the guy at the water plant he will give ya about 200 bottle caps and around 175 XP. Then after that he will buy scrap metal from you for a pretty good price and when you turn it inyou also get so xp from it as well.

Is fallout 2's story any good. I'm stuck in the god damn Mutant factory becasue my game crashes if I go near the elevator so I never moved on to 2 and I am downloading three.

I'll probably end up doing 3 then 2 years in the future.

Fallout 3 is nothing like the other Fallout games. Its the same setting, tone etc but it surely is not the same gameplay style. Anyways its totally fun.


As for my game I found Vault 106 in the game. Its not far from Vault 101 at all.

It did for me too. I did not even explore the whole thing even though I had supply's to do so. Right now I am trying to find DogMeat, your pet dog in the game who can die. I heard he is located in a scrapyard near Minefield. I looked all around that place but all I found was a crappy factory nothing in it really asides radtion. S sniper took his rifle and I ran into this big ugly $&#^er. It was called a deathclaw I guess, he looked like a cross between Nemisis for Resident Evil and a Super Mutant. Lucky a group of raiders took him out but I got no XP due t it.

Also I am at level 9.

Hey, I just got to Level 9 too. I found a Deathclaw ripping... Literally ripping, into wastelanders in the city near the sewers. I do suggest going all the way through v106, due to the mini-nukes in thar.

Also, Im at the school now where I'm pondering going into the basement and eleminating the ant problem. I also found a ledger stating that the raiders there were trying to tunnel their way into a vault, so maybe I can sneak in 101 and get the bobblehead xD

I been in that school as well but all I found was a dead end. I just got rid of the fire ant problem I guess in this other town where you find the lone kids. Also I found the science bobble head in vault 106 I think..
