. Yes, it's the Wireless Multimedia Keyboard from Microsoft. God, do I hate this fricking keyboard! every night I'm recharging batteries, it's a nightmare. I love the feel and the perfect balance of comfort and clack though, so I'm still using it (until I can cough up some dough of a regular USB version).

It came with a wireless mouse too, but I've given up on that as well, considering the amount of charging I have to do, because of my surplus of gaming hours.

Really? I just used regular alkaline batteries in mine (both keyboard and mouse) and they lasted about 6 months. My problem was the keyboard had terrible wireless and I would lose keystrokes (especially holding down CTRL and another key :/). The mouse never gave me a problem, and when I sold the set, I bought the same keyboard, only wired, and got another wireless MS mouse. They both work great for me, and the mouse has had the same batteries for around 8 months now!

Something to remember, the battery usage tends to depend heavily on how close the wireless transceiver is to the devices, so keep it as close as possible (without putting it too close and distorting the signal)
