Well. I don't know where to begin.

I was pretty freakin amazing at halo.

Came first in a 4v4 large scale local tourney. Won $4000 (1000 each)

Looks like you guys missed the good side of Halo, you kind of have to be at least the slightest bit competitive to have fun.

I would argue but your arguments are weak.

Kids screaming into the mic? Not if your playing the good game types, and if it really drives you that crazy to let them ruin it for you, there IS a pretty easy and quick way to mute certain players.

Glitches? Standbying, modding, superbouncing, bridging, team standbying... There are ways to avoid all of these, maybe except superbounces (which are pretty fun) but there are maybe 1-3 on every map and are easily learnable, and if your good enough, its just not an issue at all.

Health in H1 to no health in H2? Well it makes a lot more sense. And it works a lot better. Pretty much just an all around good decision. Oh and there is actually health in Halo 2, you just can't see it.

Guy basing his hate of Halo on the needler? Needler is pretty much just a joke, in halo 1+2 at least. The best way to tell if your horrible at halo, is if you use the needler, and die to people using it. Halo 3 is a ruined though, they tried to level it out, and they just turned it into an all around power weapon. Needler > Rockets on medium distance. One needler in H3 is better than 20 needlers in H2.

Halo 3 was a mistake by Bungie. Horrible, disaster... Everything they changed changed for the worst.

So yeah Halo 2 is the best MP FPS ever made, incomparable to GoW or COD4.

Only game that I can maybeeeee say is a bit better than Halo, is Perfect Dark for the N64

I never really saw what was so epic about halo. I play the original Halo about 4 hours a week still.

I'm one of the noobs on halo.... After I get TK'd sevral times. >.> the I just kill everyone and Stuff.

ok i can answer why the pistol got changed. it was way too powerfull. if halo had have started life out on the pc, it would have been patched instead of fixed in halo 2.
Now i like halo, granted i dont think its the be all and end all of FPS's but its till a great game. but it is so much more then a game its a franchise. like to understand what the hell is going on you need to read the books. (They are crap and contradict the game but it spreads som light on whats going on) i think reinventing themselves is fine, like im playing sixty books for the game it should be diferent otherwise id just be playing halo 2.
the multiplayer is fun and its got a good single player campaign (except for the end, that was just bad)
