Not so fast, Safari has had "Private Browsing" mode for a while. That's been a lifesaver when I go home for the holidays.

And for Google, beta is the final release. GMail has been in "beta" for over 4 years now. It just lets them off the hook if anything goes wrong. In the olden days, a company would release the beta version to a small group of users to see if everything worked in real world situations.

I just downloaded it. It's pretty neat, we'll see how it works.

Yes, but in porn mode, you get another browser with a little spy guy, so ha!

No seriously, I freaking love this browser....but until they come out with some apps I'll be using FF as my main browser -_-

I'll wait until they get add-ons, etc, before I download it.

I downloaded it this afternoon (I still use IE (and FireFox)) it's gonna take some getting used to, but I do like it. It's definitely faster than either IE or Firefox...the only thing I haven't been able to do (and they say it can be done) is get java to work. I can't use it to go to pogo...none of the games will open

If anyone knows how to get Java to work with Chrome, pleeeeeeeeease, I'm begging you...let me know!!!!

Apparently you need to install the latest beta of Sun Java, Ayanna; /v/ was talking about that as the solution for Runescape.

I might give it a try as soon as a Linux Version arrives and a code review was done.

And where do I get the latest beta? 'Cause right now I've got the upgrade 6 - 10 or 10-6 *forgets*

Agreed. It'd be interesting if some of the Firefox addons were ported over though, may even be enough to convince me to switch.

Java SE Early Access Downloads
Apparently you need to install this RC Beta once Chrome is installed, and Java will work~
