A favorites list for me would feel contrived if I listed over 10 entries, and a lot of my favorites are mainstream anyways. So I'm limiting this list to one game per system.

360/PS3: Rock Band
Wii: Smash Bros Brawl
GC: Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
PS2: Guitar Hero 2
XBOX: Metal Wolf Chaos (japan only)
Dreamcast: Sonic Adventure
PSX: Final Fantasy VII
N64: Diddy Kong Racing
Saturn: NiGHTS into Dreams...
SNES: Terranigma (japan/europe only)
Genesis: Crusader of Centy
NES: Zelda Adventure of Link

I don't play video games very often, but I generally prefer long adventure games or RPGs. Some of my favorites are Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Okami, and both Golden suns. I also like strategy and tactics games, like Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, and Final Fantasy Tactics.

Recently I've been playing through Okami for the first time; it's really fun, and honestly it's beautiful.

Holy crap! I can't believe I'm going to be the first person on this thread to say BioShock (I looked at all the posts, but if you posted it and I missed it, sorry

). Seriously, I just played through it again a couple days ago and hot damn is it amazing. Scary, funny, original, great level design, great game mechanics... though it's not perfect, it's pretty damn close!

My top 5 of all time are:

1.) BioShock
2.) Final Fantasy VII
3.) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
4.) Gears of War (Mostly because of the multiplayer)
5.) Silent Hill 2 (Way underrated)

*Honorable Mention: Resident Evil 4 (It would have been so much better if there had been a plot twist where you found out Ashley was actually dead and you never had to deal with her... at all.)

I know your pain. I've had to send in my console 3 times. I've actually had the one I'm playing on for almost a year. It's due to die at any time. But, at the same time, I still LOVE the console and find time to play it almost daily.

The only videogame I am playing right now is the Sims 2 on the PC. however my list of favorites are:

Final Fantasy VII (playstation)
Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Gameboy)
Mario Brothers 1 and 3 mostly, didn't care for 2 that much. (SNES)
Mario World (SNES)
Space Invaders (Atari)
Breakout (Atari)

That's about all I can think of for now.
