I used to hate Apple with a passion, but I started using their products (iPod, iPhone, Mac) and they're all simply brilliant. I'd have a Mac sitting next to this computer if I had any money. I can not find any reason to dislike Apple anymore.

Do you mind explaining why Mac 'sux'?

(This is the last time I will be getting off-topic here.)

Oh! I also have gOS and some Chinese flavour of Ubuntu (I think). I have a lot of Linux distros. Including Red Hat, and yet another one I can't think of (or find).

By the way, I have never used any of these distributions for more than a week.

*sigh*

It's hilarious watching these arguments because the arguers always seem to get shot down from making flawed reasons why they are accused to "sux"

I use XP. I did go through Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian, and Gentoo on my laptop, but it's back to XP now. Linux is great, it just needs DirectX for me to make the switch .

------

I hate the Mac "lifestyle" or the "fad" or whatever you want to call it. These people are the most annoying people on the planet. Mactards I guess we could call them. iPeople! There we go. I don't like iPeople at all.

Other than that I really don't have any reason to not like their products, other than...I just don't. Not for me I guess. Nothing to do with them, just to do with me. I prefer how Microsoft has their OS set up. I've used all three major flavors - Windows, Mac & Linux. After I got over the whole rebel thing where I thought it was cool to use such a radical thing like Linux, I started really looking at what OS I enjoyed using the most, and it ended up being Windows.

I've got no problems with any of them, for the record.

If you haven't yet, check out XP Service Pack 3. It's a little tighter and you don't have 80 security fixes to download. I also noticed that SP3 on my laptop boots about 8 seconds faster than normal. That's a lot for the same OS.

XP SP3 for me. And yes, it does seem to load faster. I'm on my desktop in about 30 seconds after I push the power button. Of course, that could be because I built the machine myself, so there's no crapware to slow it down. Still, much faster than I remember SP2 ever being.
