I absolutely refuse to use Windows. We have several Macs here at our house, and 1 Sony Vaio. I use the PC every once in a while if I HAVE to, but even doing simple things like plugging in my little USB drive causes all sorts of bad things to happen. The internet on it decides to shut off randomly while I'm using it, and for the years that I've used Windows, I've still not figured out how to fix it! Do I use the Network Settings tool, the Internet Wizard, Connections Settings tool, the CD the router came with? Windows makes the simplest of tasks difficult. [/rant]
Lol, so yeah, I'm sitting here typing this on my lovely 24" iMac which should be paid off in 20 months >_<. A lot of people also think that Macs suck for gaming, but in fact, you can install Windows on your Mac and play your games, because Macs are very powerful computers. |

I'm for microsoft, because I know and have used it forever. I havn't had any problems with computers in years, aside from several hardware issues. Those were from a seven year old computer, so it's understandable. My new computer is perfect with Vista, and the only issues I find is...well, I'll tell you if I do get an issue. None so far.
I have used macs, and honestly I found it confusing for awhile. What's a clover key do again? xD It wasn't that bad though, and I bet it's a good OS and everything. Just not my style. |

Microsoft PCs are better then MACs by far, with a Microsoft PC you can upgrade it, play games, etc. Now tell me, what can you do on a mac? ...And don't give me that load of crap "Ohhh! It's good for video editing and stuff!"
If you get a mac, save yourself the money and get a nice empty PC and put BSD on it. |

i made the switch from PC to Mac back in September. I admit that at first i was a little confused with some of the things, but i quickly fell in love with it. Very smooth and cooperative, until the hard drive did crash after about about 6 months after i got it. No biggie, i didnt have much stuff on there, the comp was still under warranty so was replaced for free, and all my important stuff was backed up on my PC back home. Overall i am very pleased with it, but i will have to go and find a PC to put together just so i can start gaming again.

I like PC better. I have used both for years. I just prefer PC's... maybe it is because I know how to actually use a computer and if something comes up I can fix it. Macs are more for the morons that have difficulty performing the simplest tasks and/or people that just like to gloat that they paid 3500 dollars for a 1200 dollar computer. I don't understand how anyone can say they are better. Maybe for common everyday tasks like surfing the net and email. They are not very good for things like gaming especially since their monitors are crap. Yes they display really huge resolutions but they have such a high response time they ghost like crazy.

I use Windows since
A. I am a PC gamer (Tell me when you play Mass Effect with out dual booting Windows) B. Its cheaper C. I can order all the parts myself and build my own and get Warranty's on every single part so I don't have to lug a computer back to best buy or a mac or pay 40 bucks to ship it to gateway/dell. D.I can edit video and pictures with my PC E. I rarely had a virus on this PC and I owned it for a few years now. F. Viruses are possible for mac's and all computer system's. |
