First of all I've never heard of a system that plays Crysis perfectly (defined as 60fps or up with AA set at at least 2x) unless you set it on 800x600. Then again I'm a relative newbie to the area of games, but that's to be expected as I am a Linux user.

Which brings me to my second point. To take the software that other people use and just call it crap with no basis to your statement is extremely inappropriate. I would be OK if you said "XP Pro is better because it supports a wider range of hardware than Linux and all the games work on it" because that would be backing up your claims with facts. Instead you chose to say something with absolutely no proof to it. You're making a fool of yourself, which is why I negrepped you.

Furthermore, a 14-year-old should be perfectly capable of using proper grammar and punctuation in his/her posts. How about, instead of completely ignoring spelling and just typing out your message as fast as possible, taking the time to write a proper argument? Like I said before, you're only making a fool of yourself.

Personally I believe Linux and BSD are better operating systems because they are more heavily optimized to run on whatever system they need to run on, from a 200MHz ARM chip in a cell phone to a supercomputer with 65,000 cores. They've been around longer and yet stay true to their UNIX roots by remaining fully UNIX compliant (the same can be said for Mac OS X as of v10.5). They're very close to immune to viruses, and their process model, shared memory support, and efficient and lightweight network stacks make them highly suitable for high-performance computing and server use. Moreover, Linux and BSD are more secure because they only run critical processes with high privileges, and everything else is run as a user with access to do only what that account is intended for - the kernel locks out everything else. Lastly, both are under Free Software licenses so that the entire community can see the source code and help to fix bugs and security problems, while the source code for Windows is carefully guarded so that nobody other than developers working for Microsoft can see it, so nobody knows what security problems exist in Windows, and if someone disassembles the kernel to audit it for security vulnerabilities, they can't submit fixes back to Microsoft - they can only alert Microsoft to the problem and wait until the next Patch Tuesday.

There's your statement as to why I believe Linux and BSD are better than Windows, backed up with facts and stated in clear, proper English and in a way that notes that this is only my opinion (the first three words of the paragraph) instead of smashing everyone else on the head because they don't walk the same walk as me. I know you're capable of doing better; please do so.

[edit]
To contribute meaningfully to the rest of this discussion...

I actually have the 2007 model of the Universal Dock, and I seriously think Apple crippled the 2008 version. Mine has both an infrared port on the front and an S-Video port on the back, which works with my iPod touch. What is this, Apple's way of embezzling more money out of us by making us buy their video cables too, in addition to their $50 dock which is now probably nothing more than a ribbon cable going from the connector on the top to the back and three wires going to the stereo line out? Sheesh.

I got the same universal dock as well, Danny. I've never actually been able to use a remote (Apple's remote didn't work!) with the IR port, though.

i ran at 1280x768 with x4AA and VSYNC enabled and @high specs(recommended for my pc) with 4gb ram(the loading is faster than it was with 2gb), and it ran at around 50-60 fps

Do you know what Vsync does? The framerate syncs with the refresh rate of your monitor. So it shouldn't go any higher then your monitor's refresh rate. Try disabling it and you might get a higher FPS without compromising graphic quality.

Er..without compromising graphic quality only applies if you're half blind and can't see visual tearing, ew.
