Now how do you feel that I could build a high powered computer, even more powerful then a Mac, put BSD on it and save about 500$ and beat the hell out of your machine. So you basically spent about 1000 or so dollars on a label and a pretty version of BSD. And if you want to call me a Windows fanboy, guess what...I use Linux(although I do have XP installed for games another thing your thousand dollar e-peen enhancement can't do). And for the love of god learn some English. |

just anted to elaborate on what is quoted however i first want to start with this: it is good that you brought a mac, specially because u fell good about financing it, and also macs are powerful machines, dont be fooled, macs have a less intense os which take advantage of its processor a lot more, i remember my first pc purchase i felt the same way even tho i was basshed for getting a emachines, but let me tell u ie benchmarked that thing and it can get some real good fps in crysis, and to think it was one of those 300 dollar specials from best buy the day after thanksgiving, dont worry tho im a big fan of mac interfaces, i actually got my pc to look just like a mack and now to elaborate on what has been said: 1 the cheapst way to get a mac is to build a windows pc and then use a hackintosh crack like osx89, likewise the most expensive way to et a pc is to buy a mac and use bootcamp or parallels 2 the real reason there are not that many virus's for macs is that when a hacker spends time to make a virus he usually is intending on taking something down, like a school mainframe, or a government server, well i know for a fact that schools and government agencies, and most businesses for that matter use servers that run a microsoft os, they may use mac desktops, but servers are usually 99% of the time widows 3 the amount of cores isnt the most important thing, if your rendering video then u want to buy a computer based on the software u use, ex. if ur using a really old software, chances are that it wont support duo cores, so if the software u use only supports duo cores then instead of paying extra for a quad core pay extra for a faster duo core 4 the amount of programs available isnt important, the software that you are comfortable with is more important 5 apple loves everybody, because when you start working there you have to go to "traning" where you are brainwashed to love everything and the employees there are part of a huge turtleneck cult called a union....... lol ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :laug h:![]() ![]() ![]() lol that last one i just threw in but ya kno.... |
