Sorry I haven't blogged in a while... busy and lazy at the same time... my birthday sucked but I did get a phone, not the one I wanted but still a phone... it's a FLARE from virginmobile... only costed me $100 so I bought me two games... I've already beaten both of them. God of War 2 and Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters for the PS2. I now pay insurance for a car I don't own... and there is nothing I can do about it. Me and my ex-girlfriend might be going back out after a 6 month hiatus. Well, I think that's my life in a nutshell since last I talked to you guys. Bye.

Gotta love that little loophole.
To get your license you have to be on your parents' insurance, whether you own (or actually get to drive) the car or not. Ain't it a crock of shit? That's why there are a lot of 16-20 year olds around with no license and thus no job... their parents can't afford to put them on the insurance.
You need a license to get a job... but you need the job to pay for the insurance so you can get the license... I hate stupid American rules.Posted 15-10-2008 at 07:00 PM by Darkfinn

Funny part is that seemingly only americans follow the rules haha i'm a driver and i don't need to pay for my car's insurance or any teenage rate cause technically i don't own a car haha, instead it goes under my mom's name and i drive it and if i ever get pulled over (Which i still haven't i hope it don't happen soon!) then i just say my mom lent me the car.Posted 15-10-2008 at 07:32 PM by blarg

That sounds very strange. Here if you have a license but no car, you pay your yearly license fee ($50-$80 if you've had no accidents on your record).
Only the people who have the car registered under their name pay the car insurance.
For example, I have a car and a license. I pay $55/yr for my license, and $1200/yr for the car. If I lived at home, and drove my parents car, they pay the car insurance, not I.
I like Canada.Posted 19-10-2008 at 03:36 AM by andysetra
