Hey all...

It's been a while since I last updated my 24/7 situation... so here it goes.

First off... yes, I am still wearing 24/7 for wetting only. I will do the other in my diaper occasionally... but most of the time it ends up in the potty. Just less to have to deal with that way. I have been wearing non-stop since April... so I'm in month 4 now.

I find that after this period of time my bladder capacity has noticably decreased. I am now wetting practically every hour that I am awake with only a few moments notice before it starts. The amount varies depending on the amount of fluids I am consuming... the stream usually lasts from 3-5 seconds. I remain dry while asleep... though more recently I have been able to relieve myself while awake and laying down... so some progress in this department has been made.

My taste in diapers has changed yet again. I have switched from Attends to Dry 24/7s during the daytime while I am at work. Dispite the increased thickness they are very comfortable and have the capacity to last me from 7:30AM when I leave for the day to 6:00PM when I arrive back home... even though I go through 4 32oz bottles of water during the course of work. I use the Attends now for evenings at home or when I am out at a location where there is easy access to private changing facilities.

Other than that... life goes on. Work is hot and sweaty... about the same as always LOL. LuvsGurl & I are in the process of moving out of our little one-bedroom apartment and into a rental house beside our friend Jen (yes, the one on this board). We are tired of the crime, the noisy arsehole neighbors, the crappy appliances, stained walls, and water leaks. So basicly apartment life in general. The house is a nice size and is clean inside, but it will need some work... especially in the yard which looks like a cross between a jungle, garden, and fruit grove. We plan to rent the place for a year or two while we get our finances in order... then if we like it enough we will put in a bid and buy it.

The next few weeks are looking to be pretty crazy... but it should pay off in the end.

Ah... Monday morning rolls around and it's off to another week.

We had the pamper party this weekend and I feel that it was a success. Got to meet some new folks... drink a little (okay maybe a lot)... cooked some kabobs... stayed up way too late... overall enjoyed it thoroughly.

The night was spent getting to know a bit about everyone and their lives... interesting to see the diversity of people that our particular kink of choice attracts. We talked about where we grew up and where we lived now... work... school... politics... religion... everything in between. Suprisingly little time was spent discussing the one thing that had brought us all there in the first place... which was fine by me. Just goes to show that we are all regular folks who try to lead normal lives as often as possible.

It did get a more interesting when a certain guest decided to remove their pants and lounge around the house in a t-shirt and a wet diaper. It was good for a chuckle... but I was honestly fine with whatever state of dress or undress that everyone chose.

Gradually the guests that were staying elsewhere left... and that resulted in just 4 of us remaining. We stayed up chatting about our more personal lives until about 5:30AM.

LuvsGurl & I got up at around 11 on sunday and made breakfast for those folks who were hungry. We stayed around and chatted till about 2 when the last of the guests went their ways.

All-in-all it was a great experience. It is always wonderful to meet some kindred spirits and make memories that we will never forget. Hopefully we can do this again soon enough... and make a longer time out of it to get to know everyone that much better.

To those of you that came... thanks a million for making it such a great time! To those who could not attend... maybe we'll see you the next time around.

This weekend was really great. I've put up a few posts about it on the boards... but I'm gonna summarize it here for anyone who didn't get the full story.

LuvsGurl & I met another AB/DL this weekend. Kinda random really... she messaged me on diaperspace and we got to talking... turns out she lives about 2 miles from me.

I was a bit skeptical at first, meeting new people is always a different experience and can make you very nervous, but it all turned out very well. We met up at a local restaurant for dinner... then went over to a coffee shop and just sat and chit-chatted the night away. It is a great feeling sharing so many interests with a new and different person.

Ofcourse we talked about diapers... the poor girl has been living with Depends for the past year or so... something that needed to be addressed immediately. B/c everybody knows that Depends suck if you are going to be relying on them to actually abosrb anything and keep your pants dry in a public setting. We also discussed our work, hobbies, movies and litterature, music... anything "normal" people would talk about. I think the only things we didn't hit on were politics and religion, two topics I try to stay away from anyways.

It is just absolutely wonderful to connect with someone in all the "normal" social ways... and also be able to share things of a decidedly more personal nature with them. Just goes a little further to show you that not everyone who is into this kinda stuff is a freak. Many of us are just regular people who like doing regular things.

We met up again for a movie night on Saturday. That was a good time too... we saw Jumper, which has to be one of the stranger sci-fi flicks I've ever watched. It was a little too short and had a wierd ending... I think they may spawn a TV series off of it. Diapers at the movies are just great... if any of you out there haven't tried it you really should. You can get the super huge drink... not worry about getting up halfway through the show... and walk right by the massive potty lines on the way out grinning like a school-kid. Even if you are just a "closet AB/DL" you should really give it a try. Everyone is too absorbed in the movie to notice what is being absorbed in your pants.

Anyways... we've made some other plans, including a "PJ party" night just like we were kids again. Should be a blast!

That's all for now... thanks for reading!

I haven't posted on here in a while... so I figured I'd give y'all a little update.

Well... what can I say... the daily grind continues pretty much unchanged since the last time I posted. Work from 8-6 then relax at home till I get to do it all over again. Things are going well at work... orders keep steadily pouring in, which is great in this slumping economy. Our numbers are down from where they were predicted to be... but it's not too bad. Good news! I've got a nicely sized raise coming starting with my next paycheck... should help cover the increased costs of food and gas... as well as all the diapers I'm using.

It cost me $50 to fill my little 4-cylinder car up with gas yesterday. Those of you who don't have cars or have access to public transportation should be thankful... b/c I don't see prices dropping any time soon.

On to the diaper front... I've switched to Attends during the daytime at work now. They are more comfortable and not nearly as warm as the Secures were. But to gain comfort I have sacrificed capacity. I would say the Attends hold half of what a Secure does. This means that I have to change about halfway through the day... typically right at the end of my lunch break. I change again into a Secure for the night when I get home.

Overall I don't mind changing at work. The bathroom is a large private one so I don't have to worry about feeling rushed to get back out... and there isn't much better than the feeling of a clean dry diaper on a hot summer day.

A little cost analysis... on the average weekday I use two Attends and one Secure. On Saturday & Sunday I typically use two Secures and one Attends. Attends are $67 for a case of 88, or $0.76 each. Secures are $65 for a case of 48, or $1.36 each. Adding in a few extra... and in an average week I'll spend close to $25 to stay diapered... which is a suprisingly large amount of money.

I think that's about enough for today. Comments are welcome as always!

Well... my new case of Secure X-Plus (http://www.securepersonalcare.com) came in on Monday. Today is day 2 of wearing them during the daytime and I must say I am pleased with their performance so far.

They are white plastic style... with front & rear waistbands, standing leak guards, and 4 quality tapes with a re-enforced "tape landing zone" that enables them to be refastened many many times for that perfect fit. They are pretty much equal to a Bambino... minus the cute prints.

Zero complaints thus far. The absorbancy is on a par with any of the thicker diapers. (Molicare, Abri X-Plus, Bambino) As is the price. (48 diapers for $64.20, or $1.34 per unit) They are certainly more absorbant than the Tenas I was using.

The main reason I chose Secure over one of the more well-known brands was the tapes. I have had problems in the past with tapes tearing the plastic or coming apart or not sticking at all, and I hate the velcro stuff like Tena went to.

Overall an excellent product for the price, and something that y'all here in the States should consider giving a try.

Ever have one of those days where you were glad that you wear diapers?

I sure did on Friday.

As many of you probably know... LuvsGurl & I made a trip to the NC Zoo, which is about a 90 minute drive north east of Charlotte. We stopped in at Bojangles on the way out of town to get some good ol' greasy biscuits and fries for breakfast. The rest of the trip out was pretty uneventful... just normal interstate traffic.

When we got to the Zoo... the real fun began. The cashier at the ticket counter informed us that there had been a water main break in the African animals section... and that all restrooms, drinking fountains, and shops on that side of the park were closed. We would have to, in her words, "take care of anything" before we headed over that way. How fortunate for us. LuvsGurl & I both chuckled at this... we were wearing our pottys... and didn't plan on making a restroom stop at all. We had brought a few bottles of water and some clean diapers with us, just incase.

The first part of the zoo is devoted to North American animals. Sea Lions & Arctic birds, Polar Bear, Foxes, Bobcats, various species of deer, Bison, etc. Stuff we had all seen before... and none of it spectacularly interesting. After this we proceeded on to the desert animal exhibit, which is inside a large domed structure that is climate controlled at about 85 degrees and 10% humidity. Very hot and dry. We saw a number of lizards and tortises (my favorite) along with several species of birds. There was a tiny humming bird in a new exhibit that was particularly fun to watch. It buzzed about here and there, then came to rest on a branch by the front glass, enabling us to get a number of pictures. There were also many different species of poisionus snakes on display... all quite large and dangerous looking. Coming back outside into the cooler 75 degree sunshine was a welcome change. LuvsGurl & I both quickly downed a bottle of water and continued our hike.

After wearing 24/7 for over a month now my system is pretty direct. Any time I drink something I end up wet 10-15 minutes later. Being outside walking around only added to that effect. It wasn't a big flood or anything... actually it felt pretty good. We proceeded onwards into the African area of the park, and passed by several groups of parents with young children who were heading back in search of functioning restrooms. I guess they should have listened to the zoo staff more carefully.

The African section was kind-of a dissapointment. A number of the exhibits were either under repair or were closed b/c of the water problem. We did get to see some Baboons, Chimps, & Lions up close. There was a overlook area down onto the zoo's main field where we saw a few Antelope, Ostriches, & Elephants in the distance. The Giraffe & Zebra exhibits were closed... too bad. We had been there about two hours, & had seen most of what we could, so we decided to head back. We walked back to a outpost area with restaurants and shoppes to rest for a few minutes. I bought us a frozen lemonade which though overpriced was quite good. We then hopped on the tram for a quick ride back to the zoo entrance. I wet again on the way out to the car, so my diaper was about half full by this time.

After departing the zoo we decided to stop in the nearby town for some lunch. We ate at Chillis, which is a pretty good place to go. Instead of my usual fajitas I got a chicken ceasar salad, which was ultimately a bad idea. The food was excellent, and our waitress kept refilling our glasses of tea, which I felt obliged to keep drinking. I think I had 4 glasses of it by the time our meal was over. We paid and got back on the road. Our GPS navigation system found us a supposedly quicker way back to Charlotte, so we followed. It put us on a 2-lane state highway that ran out through the country. Less traffic, but also rougher roads and few places to stop. Things were going fine until about 45 minutes into the ride... when my tummy started cramping up.

Now let me take a moment and explain a few things about LuvsGurl's little car. It is a Suzuki X-90. An oddity of an automobile that looks like a cross between a Mazda roadster and a small SUV. Two seater... t-tops... 4-cylinder engine... high off-road stance... trunk with a swoopy wing... painted bright purple. It's the same size as a Mini Cooper... itty bitty. We jokingly refer to it as an overgrown golfcart. The advantage of this car is exceptional fuel mileage... about 40MPG if you aren't pushing it too hard. The downside of such a small vehicle is a very bumpy ride over harsh roads... which combined with the 4 glasses of tea and the salad wasn't helping matters down there.

I figured I would be ok... as the prospect of finding a place to stop and take care of this on a back-country road wasn't too bright. I squeezed it in and held on for about 15 minutes. By this time the cramps were coming in waves and I just had to do something about it. No gas stations or restrooms nearby, so my diaper would have to suffice in this emergency. I have been able to wet while behind the wheel a few times before... but getting over the mental block and deciding to actually mess my diaper while driving took a little preparation. I had read stories about people in similar situations... and knew from the feeling in my gut that I was about to be in a very sticky situation. Finally my bowels decided the matter for me... my brain screaming at me the whole time.

I will spare the details but we'll suffice to say it was not at all plesant. Thankfully my diaper contained the mess and my tummy felt a bit better... though my back side did not. I appologised to LuvsGurl for any smell... and thankfully she was sympathetic & didn't laugh at my situation too much. It was about another 20 minutes until we hit town... and I needed to go again. LuvsGurl suggested that we stop at a gas station somewhere, but I knew that nothing short of jumping in the shower would clean me off now. We were only about 10 miles from home and I tried oh so hard to wait. But having done it once already I guess I was over the mental block... b/c I found myself doing it again as we turned the corner into our apartment complex. By this point it smelled pretty rotten, thankfully we had the windows down. I was just glad to be home.

I was pretty embarassed about the whole thing. But LuvsGurl was very understanding, as aparently she was in a similar situation but since she hadn't had a salad for lunch was able to hang on till we got home. I will say that is the most disgusting thing I've ever done... but looking back on it now once I got past the first 5 minutes it wasn't all that horrible. My diaper managed to contain the whole mess... so there is one good point to these Tenas anyways.

After the whole ordeal... I'm glad I was diapered. It would have been a heck of a lot worse had I not been

Well... I've been diapered 24/7 for a month now... and overall I'm pleased with myself. I can proudly say that I have held myself to strict diaper usage and haven't cheated once.

One thing about this 24/7 wearing deal has recently gotten to me. You gotta have the right diaper. These new Tenas aren't that spectacular... and it has taken some of the fun out of wearing all the time. Instead of an exciting
"Oh! I get to wear one of these."
when I go to change it's more of an "Oh... I get to wear one of these." If you get my drift.

To remedy this diaper boredom I have ordered a case of Secure X-pluses... an excellent plastic-backed diaper that should bring the fun back into wearing.

Also of interest... LG & I are going to the zoo! That's right... I got a paid day off this friday... so we're gonna pack some extra diapers and a lunch and head off for a pampered zoo trip. It's been about 6 years since I last went... hopefully it will be a great time. I'm gonna take the camera and get plenty of pics for everyone here on the boards.

I guess that's all for now...

Well... this makes 3 weeks of 24/7 wearing so far. No complaints here.

LuvsGurl and I spent the weekend at a local craft show... trying to sell some of her pottery and sculptures. That was a total waste. It was cool and rainy the whole time... I bet maybe 200 people came through the whole weekend. I just hope LG wasn't too dissapointed by it... we had really hoped to sell several pieces and go on a vacation with the proceeds... no such luck.

On a lighter note... it was a good opportunity to further test the dry 24/7 diapers. I wore my one remaining from the sample pack on saturday. We were out at the show from 9AM to 6PM and it really performed well. I didn't have to change at all... and felt dry and comfortable the whole time.

Sunday I wore a Bambino... and while it did a good job I am glad that the show was only from noon to 5. I was in desperate need of a change by the time we started packing up... and I wasn't looking forward to changing in the public restroom or one of the porta-toilets.

Though from what LG told me... we weren't the only ones who were there in diapers. When she went to the restroom to change on Saturday the woman infront of her in line was going in to do the same thing.

LG & I find it funny whenever we notice someone else who is diapered out in public. Its little subtle hints that a non-diapered person wouldn't even think to look for. Just nice to know that we aren't the only sensible people around.

Hey all... it's been a bit since I posted on here... so time for an update.

My 24/7 diapering continues... into its 3rd week now... and I'm happy with it. My Tena Supers continue to perform admirably. Comfortable... quiet... convienient... and very absorbant. I am now into my 2nd pack of diapers... and will be ordering more this week. I have switched to using my Bambinos at night... so I can save the Tenas for daytime use.

My usual activies continue unhindered... with no toilet breaks to interrupt things. By my calculations I am saving at least 15 gallons of water per day by simply not using the toilet to pee in.

An interesting thing has happened in the past few days. Since I began this little "quest" I have been trying to wet as often as possible by concentrating on making my bladder muscles relax as much as I can. This mental exercise has formed some sort of connection... b/c I can now litterally feel my bladder inside of me.

It is a unique sensation... and is very hard to describe. It's like the feeling you get for a split second after you stop peeing... your bladder is open but there's nothing left in it. I'm getting that pretty much any time I'm awake now... all day... and it's definately something to get used to. I still haven't been bedwetting any... but I am planning on doubling my fluid intake in the hours before bed-time... so we'll see where that leads.

That's pretty much it. I'll update more if something else changes.

I've been diapered 24/7 for a week now. It honestly has been a plesant experience so far... and I am enjoying it.

I spent most of the day today cleaning house... nothing spectacular... but it did give me a chance to unbox all of my diapers and get them put away.

I needed more room for them than my little set of drawers in the closet... so I finally did something cool... I moved all of my underwear & socks into other drawers, hung up my shirts... and put the diapers in my dresser. It makes me feel like such a little kid again.

I had to take a pic... just had to. It's really too bad they don't fit better... they took up a lot of room.

Anyways... probably just gonna be another simple weekend of hanging around the house... we'll see what happens.

So... my days of 24/7 wearing continue unimpeded. I spent most of last night chatting away on here... changed into a dry diaper at about 10:00. I was drinking a lot of my favorite lemonade... had 2 glasses shortly before going to sleep at 11.

Well... I woke up to a very full diaper this morning. If I think about it I do vaguely remember lieing in bed and wetting my diaper sometime during the course of the night... but it's one of those just barely awake moments... almost like it was a dream.

I don't consider myself a bedwetter... and it is a rare thing for me to be able to even pee while laying down. Perhaps this is the start of something... who knows.

Now I'm sure there are those of you who are screaming "You'll regret it, stop now!" and you are probably right... but this is something I need to really experience for myself before I decide that I need to stop it.

Thanks for reading... more later!

An Interesting Side Effect.

As most of you know... I have been wearing 24/7 for a few days now... and I noticed something very interesting today.

Usually my first diaper of the day will last me until 5 or 6 in the evening... depending on how much I drink with lunch. I either change right before I leave work... or right when I get home.

I didn't really pay attention to how much I wet during the course of the morning or early afternoon. That is until I sat down for a quick break around 2:00. I had wet so much that my diaper was nearly full. I ended up having to change at 3:00... a full 2 hours earlier than normal.

The only thing I can attribute this to is that last night I had a few glasses of soda with dinner... and I had another this morning when I got up. I usually have lemonade or milk. I have heard that soda acts as a diuretic... but hadn't really noticed any effects of it until today.

Just thought I'd pass that interesting tidbit along to y'all.

Just Another Tricky Day

Well... yesterday went pretty well. Things were slow at work (as they typically are on the first of the month) so I spent most of the day working on little projects.

I had a super big coke with my lunch... which happened to be the appropriate size to put my diaper over the limit by 5:00. I didn't want to risk a leak b/c I had to go by the store on the way home... so I grabbed one of my spares from the drawer and changed in the bathroom before I left for the day.

Changing in a semi-public setting still makes me a little nervous. But I've done it enough where I'm pretty quick with it. I have timed myself before... and can typically change in about 3 minutes.

Otherwise a relatively uneventful day. My typical life.

Well... I wore a Tena to work today. I must say these things are impressive. It held up to what I'd consider "normal" use all day. It was totally soaked by the time I got home... but it took me wetting it once more as I walked in the door... then plopping down in a chair to actually squeeze out a tiny bit of leakage.

This is totally great. The diaper was comfortable all day and I'm amazed at the absorbency compared to the thickness. It held as much as a Bambino... while being half as thick. I've honestly never seen a diaper like this before... perhaps the Tena Super is the "best of both worlds"... thin and quiet enough to go un-noticed under clothing... and absorbent enough to last all day without a change.

Totally cool.

Non-Adventures in Diaperdom

Well... I said that I would start posting about my 24/7 diaper experiences here... so here we go.

First off... these Tena Supers have been really nice so far. They are pretty thin... much thinner than the Abenas and Bambinos I'm used to... but they absorb a heck of a lot... probably on par with a Molicare or a Secure. Which is great considering their thickness.

These do have a cloth backing... which I haven't been totally fond of in other diapers... but I think after I wear them for a while I'll be used to it. The tape-zone is covered with plastic... kind-of like a Secure or Bambino... and the tapes are refastenable for a proper fit.

I have noticed how suprisingly comfortable the Tenas are... they fit snugly, but after a while you get used to them... and honestly you kind-of forget that you even have them on. It's nice. With something like an Abri or Bambino... or even other diapers with a plastic backing the feeling and crinkle always remind you that you are diapered. That dosen't seem to be the case here.

This weekend has been pretty droll... nothing to do but sit around the house. So being diapered all the time hasn't been an issue at all. We'll see if that changes once I go to work tomorrow.

My humble beginnings.

I'm an only child... and I had a decent childhood as far as I can remember. My parents never mentioned anything about me being hard to potty train......

I'm an only child... and I had a decent childhood as far as I can remember. My parents never mentioned anything about me being hard to potty train... but I do know that I was a bedwetter and was kept in diapers at night until age 5. This was the late 80's... the days before pull-ups... so my training pants were really thick padded briefs... which I love to this day.

I have been fascinated with diapers and wetting for as long as I can remember. It's not a fetish thing for me... it is really an integral part of who I am... and I have no idea why. Any mention of diapers... or having to go to the bathroom instantly snatches my attention

Things didn't really get cranked up for me until I was 12. My parents went through a really messy divorce... lasted about 3 years... lotsa yelling... lotsa fighting. None of it was physically taken out on me... but I spent many a sleepless night in bed listening to them bicker back and forth.

At this point something triggered... I needed a release... a way to de-stress... something to enjoy. So I started wetting my pants. It was just a little at first... a dribble here... a dribble there. But that eventually turned into full blown "accidents" at home... in public... wherever. My folks knew something was up... and it wasn't physical. They sent me to a shrink. I would end up going to that shrink for years... but that's another story.

I was staying at my grandparents' house after school during this time... it's a great place. Huge... 2 main floors... 2 basement levels. A lot of stuff... junk... whatever you want to call it. Typical grandparents... pack rats... they had all kinds of stuff they didn't even know about. A favorite activity of mine was to go down into the basements and pile through the boxes, cabinets, and closets full of stuff. I found all sorts of trinkets and gadgets. Never anything really worth a crap... but all of it interesting. That all changed the day I decided to look on the top shelf of the closet in the basement bathroom. Sitting there in the back was a half full package of diapers... I was in heaven. I was a skinny kid... small... light... typically the shortest one in my class. The diapers fit me perfectly.

Your first diaper (that fits properly) is always the best. It was a marvelous feeling... all the cares and worries of the world melt away as soon as you get it strapped snugly into place. I was only able to wear that first diaper for a half hour or so before my mom came to pick me up... but I was hooked.
