Just a small space to record the goings on of my life. Right now the lot of this is devoted to me chronicling my life in diapers 24/7. How long I'll be wearing them I don't know... but it's going to be an interesting ride.
Just me.

I haven't posted on here in a while... so I figured I'd give y'all a little update.
Well... what can I say... the daily grind continues pretty much unchanged since the last time I posted. Work from 8-6 then relax at home till I get to do it all over again. Things are going well at work... orders keep steadily pouring in, which is great in this slumping economy. Our numbers are down from where they were predicted to be... but it's not too bad. Good news! I've got a nicely sized raise coming starting with my next paycheck... should help cover the increased costs of food and gas... as well as all the diapers I'm using.
It cost me $50 to fill my little 4-cylinder car up with gas yesterday. Those of you who don't have cars or have access to public transportation should be thankful... b/c I don't see prices dropping any time soon.
On to the diaper front... I've switched to Attends during the daytime at work now. They are more comfortable and not nearly as warm as the Secures were. But to gain comfort I have sacrificed capacity. I would say the Attends hold half of what a Secure does. This means that I have to change about halfway through the day... typically right at the end of my lunch break. I change again into a Secure for the night when I get home.
Overall I don't mind changing at work. The bathroom is a large private one so I don't have to worry about feeling rushed to get back out... and there isn't much better than the feeling of a clean dry diaper on a hot summer day.
A little cost analysis... on the average weekday I use two Attends and one Secure. On Saturday & Sunday I typically use two Secures and one Attends. Attends are $67 for a case of 88, or $0.76 each. Secures are $65 for a case of 48, or $1.36 each. Adding in a few extra... and in an average week I'll spend close to $25 to stay diapered... which is a suprisingly large amount of money.
I think that's about enough for today. Comments are welcome as always!

Hmm...I can't even deactivate the gas pump quickly enough before the meter reaches 33 Euros ($50). God, I remember buying my car in the U.S. and heading over to the next gas station (because the fuel gauge didn't respond at all, so there must have been less than 5 drops left). I got a $20 bill from the bank, and I was appalled that I couldn't fit more than $7.50 worth of gas into my car.Posted 17-06-2008 at 01:19 PM by Peachy
