I've used the "I lost a bet" alibi before. Chances are about 30% good that there's more to the story. I doubt you'll be able to get the real reason out of her without making an awkward situation though. Best to shrug and keep it to yourself.

Ears and a tail = neko (cat-person) is an anime thing.

Now, a fursuit, on the other hand - if not mascot use - that's a big indicator.

then again, Neko is like...furry lite.

I used to have some ears that I wore in junior high. But it was a neko/ anime/ just wanted to be cute thing.

And now I wear a collar quite often, but as a Collared submissive, not a furry.

Why would anyone believe the "I lost a bet" thing? How many times do kids actually do stuff like that when they lose? Almost never. Sorreh, just thought that's a lame excuse. = /
