I've pretty much learned how to do all my furry costuming and ideas from this guy here on his site: Matrices.net He has tutorials on just about every part of a fursuit. You would need to however model the Vulpix one to his techniques which might take a little bit of planning on your part.
Foam is pretty easy to model for beginners. I'd really start off small doing like a "half anthro-half human" style costume before delving into an entire suit as your first attempt may not be how you'd like it. You can also look up on how to work with bondo in cosplays using other fiberglass methods. This is a little more advanced, but makes awesome hooves and other hard items look professional on a fursuit.

well, she does have pictures of herself. she also describes in her site about how hard it is for her body shape to fit in a male character bodysuit. if you need more proof, try watching her video tutorials. she was the person who i used tutorials for to make my fursuit. my first, and currently only suit. to get enough proof, try reading more of her site. she even put up her bio on her site. her real bio. but you are still very correct that you are male unless proven otherwise. i understand it very well.
