My personal views on Adult Babies and Littles

This is something that has bothered me for some time. These are my personal views... but I really wanted some way to express it.

To me being an adult baby, is innocent and a way to be a kid/baby again.. I mean who wouldn't want to be young again.

However (thanks to some people) we are looked at as "sick" "Freaks" and so on and it's because of people who have it as a sexual fetish.

Personally I think it being a sexual fetish for some really ruins it for the rest of us! Kids DO NOT have sex! Simple as that!

I really feel that it ruins it for the rest of us. I have looked at different places online that talk about adult babies and they make the comment always that "it's a sexual fetish" so naturally we are labeled as "sick"

Why do they have to ruin it for those of us who just want to be kids again? I have told some people close to me about being an AB, and the way I explained it was being a kid again and they fully understood.... however when you mix sex in there, people think you are sick.... I hate that so many misunderstand because of the sexual part.

I for one am an AB/LG and am in no way ABSOLUTELY NOT sexual about it! I also think it should not have it mixed in there because KIDS/BABIES DO NOT HAVE SEX!! Simple as that!! They DO NOT! I just don't like that... it ruins it.

This is just something that irritates me and I wanted to express myself somehow.

How do you guys feel about it?

You can't change the fact that it is a sexual fetish for some. But also think it's going a bit far to say that it ruins it for AB's for DL's to be sexually interested in diapers. With the long list of fetishes that is already out there, DL's being one of them is less likely frowned upon than an adult that likes to act as an infant. But it is all in perspective of who you ask.

Also it is proven that children can be sexually advanced, that does not mean they have sex, it just means they have a higher sex drive than most normal kids. This does not ruin anything for anybody.

Maybe I'm still confused why you think a DL ruins the AB portion?

ADULT BABIES - like baby things

Diaper lovers - Like the feel of a diaper 9 outta 10 times sexual, and has NOTHING at all to do with roleplaying like 5yo with wetting problems

Due to the nature of this beast and the cross over which can occur, there are AB/DL sites, this being one, I'd suggest that you find a pure AB site OR realise that many people find the baby thing a lot sicker

it's when people think diapers / babies and see people dressed like babies when it gets fucked up, I can't link it here, but I can show your 2 amateur couples on a well known site having normal DL sex, and then I can show u porn site after porn site trying to do DL porn, and it's just people dressed like victorian babies, or guys being done by "mommy" with a strap on, because it's that baby site which gets people sick,

The porn stuff just really disgusts me! I hold onto my childhood and see it as innocent and child like... and bringing sex into it RUINS it! KIDS DO NOT HAVE SEX!!!! NOT SUPPOSED TO! AND THAT IS SICK EVEN THINKING ABOUT THAT!!!

The point, I think, is that if someone is interested in just the comfort/roleplaying, "being a kid" aspect, then they are an AB. As soon as it is also sexual, then they are, in addition to an AB, a DL. When ABism is sexual, it is not just ABism - it is AB/DLism.

I hate to think that my DL tendencies tarnish the image of your AB tendencies. I do think:
1. People will call it sick whether it's sexual or not. There are some people out who may be knowledgeable of other fetishes and thus would understand DLism but would not get regression at all.
2. It is a fetish that can't (evidently) be changed yet harms no one. People call it sick but that's not enough of a reason to give them credence. It is not my problem that other people may not be willing to accept me.
3. You make the argument, "KIDS/BABIES DO NOT HAVE SEX!! Simple as that!! They DO NOT! I just don't like that... it ruins it." Kids don't have sex, yes, but adults also don't try to be kids. I think people may act as though they "become a kid" but they are still adults.
4. If I say, "ADULTS DO NOT WEAR DIAPERS!! Simple as that!! They DO NOT!" is my argument valid? The formation of these desires in early childhood is psychologically complex. I'm not making an argument that kids do/could/should have sex - but I am saying that there is not really any reason to expect our psychologies to align with reality.

As a Little myself, I do empathize with your dilemma. I would consider myself to be most if not all AB, but as many guys would probably attest, going through puberty in a diaper can get really confusing. As a result, I have had sexual feelings mixed in with my intense desire to regress. Does that make me sick? I'm not sure...I don't think I does, in fact if I could completely remove those feelings from my AB experiences I would in a heartbeat....they simply conflict with the nature of feeling little...unfortunately, this is something which seems to be inextricably linked (screw puberty) I will say that I work hard to ignore the sexual aspect. It may interesting to you that when I regress quite deeply, I always transcend the sexual feelings...when I am feeling and behaving truely little, I no longer experience those adult feelings. So, I hear what your saying. But perhaps it is a little more complicated for guys, I don't know.

Some people (like me) have both interests: being an innocent little girl and being a sexual adult who plays at being 'little'. Nothing makes me happier than being kept genuinely innocent and loved, but there's nothing I can do to remove that sexual component that sometimes arises for me.

I would disagree. I feel that close-minded people who would refuse to understand how sexuality can fit into being an AB and brand those who have a sexual component as 'freaks' or 'sick' are the problem here. I would say it's 'thanks to them' that we get tarred with that brush.

Kids don't...but adults who pretend to be kids do. I always look at it as: I may be a little girl inside, but my body is adult, and has sexual urges. As being little is such a big part of me, I personally find it only natural it would bleed into my sexuality.

Also, as an aside, I had highly sexualised thoughts and behaviours from at least the age of 8.

Firstly, anything 'weird' is going to be seen as sexual by the public. Even if no AB ever had a sexual interest in this, people who first heard of it would suspect there's a sexual component.

Secondly, it can go both ways, really. I've also seen people say they understand those of us for whom it's a fetish (because most healthy people have a kink or two or are at least aware of them), but people who just like pretending to be babies and wetting themselves for 'fun' are totally bizarre to them. The brain takes us strange places to fulfil our arousal, but most people understand sex.

The fact is, 'I like to wear nappies and pretend I'm a baby' is never going to go down well with a lot of the vanilla crowd. You can be a pervert (sexual) or mentally ill (nonsexual), but it never looks good.

Again, the two are not mutually exclusive. I would love to be a kid again!...But I also have sexual urges, and I (and any other people who have a sexual element in their ageplay) cannot help that. Any more than you can help feeling like you want to be a child again. It's no use to get annoyed with people who cannot help what arouses them.

I too don't like people misunderstanding (i.e. thinking ABs are pedophiles) because some of us incorporate sexuality into our play. However again I think the issue is with 'nillas not getting us weirdos, not with people who can't help their sexuality...having their sexuality.

Hah. Emphasis is mine. This is so reminiscent of what my parents said about my (nonsexual) little side while they rejected it... 'I don't like it (therefore it's wrong)'.

Again, you are entitled to your opinions, but I think 'x shouldn't be happening because I don't like it' and 'people who do what I do differently are RUINING WHAT I DO' are frankly very childish opinions indeed.

I think ABDL people get enough scorn/judgement without having it heaped on from people within the community.
