I kind of was serious...What better way to show that you are one, then to showing it while in the act? Do you all really want something to show people that you have this fetish? I mean, you have a hard enough time telling someone, I doubt many people would flaunt this thing around...And why do we get to decide on it?

Now, as Lukie said, I'd hate to be tied in with the friggin weird ABs or DLs and thus, I wouldn't use the flag at all and would deny connection to it. Also as he said, it's a fetish NOT a life style. It's not something you do every day, well, for a lot of us, and it's not something that is publicly accepted. Why push for acceptance and a wider amount of people to know about it when this is something people don't really need to know about? I mean, why should random people have to know you're a *B/DL and proud of it, chances are, they don't care? Not everyone is open minded, and everyone being open minded will never happen. I just really don't see the point in having a flag. |

Every time this comes up, I am forced to point out yet again, there is already an ABDL 'pride' symbol out there. It's been around for years, and was designed by a leader in the ABDL community. Interestingly enough I don't see many of the older folk poking into this convo...probably because they're thinking "kids, can't live with 'em, can't kill 'em!" Anyway...I'm speaking up...yet again.
![]() This symbol has been around since 2002...six years people...longer than most of you have even known what ABDL (or TBDL) even is! The person(s) who created the symbol did so with much thought, advertising, and a lot of monetary outlay. The whole idea "we need a flag" might be a good one, but the question arises...who's gonna pay for it? It's not something you just say "This is going to be the *BDL pride symbol 'n everyone's gonna use from now on, 'k" and that's the end of it. It needs monetary investment, widespread advertising, and a great deal of thought as to how it's going to be best displayed. Personally. I like the 'pride pin'. It's small, easily identifiable, and could easily be worn with other pins on a jacket/backpack/whatever. This topic comes around every few months...but I don't see anyone laying out money to make it an actuality. So for now I'll stick with what's already out there, and available! |

The problem I see with this idea is that there is no such thing as the AB/DL community, rather there are just several different communities of AB/DLs.
If one group of people comes up with a flag or badge (as they have in the past) and go around saying to everyone 'rightio, this is the new offical symbol for all of us', others are going to respond 'who gives you the right to decide that? I wanted one with more stripes/different colours/a picutre of a dinosaur with evil glowing eyes...'. I don't think you're ever going to get one unified, accepted symbol that everyone will embrace, particularly not by creating yet another. If you really want to do it then your best bet would be to take on and publicise one of the already existing ones but even that would be tricky. As for actually having a flag in the first place, I doubt I would ever use it but I think it would be a fairly harmless thing all in all. |

Here is one thing that has been discussed over and over, but here is a little slant on the thing, we all know the safty pin idea, why not just paint the safty pin, say red or blue, and if you want to go a little further, why not add something as simpel to the pin like a colored button, in any color you see to signify different types of AB's or whatever letters you want to use.
Say a red saftypin, with a white ordinary shirt button,or in black or any color you decide on, you can paint the button also. I guess someone could come up with the colors of the pins or the buttons just agree on it, before I'm too old to do it. |

Tied up at the moment.

Ayanna, do you know why the baby blue, peach, and heart was selected? The colors are ones I usually avoid. The heart is not a symbol I use. No need to reserve one for me. |
