Would it be a good idea to create a hall of fame for selected stories? If so we could make it a members only locked forum where the best finished stories are posted without others comments. Just an idea.

No, 'best' is all opinion. Someone can love King's writing and I could hate it with all my soul (which I do...) So no.

Best is opinion, but if decided by public vote it seems fair to me. Anyway, I don't have a strong opinion either way as I tend to never visit the stories sections.

You should add a poll to see if people are interested. I think it would be a cool addition.

Why not just use the "Rate This Thread" option at the top right of the page when you are viewing a thread?

With a few ratings, stories will get a star rating that is shown next to their name to everyone viewing the board.
People can then sort the stories board by decreasing number of stars.
