Dear reader:

If we are not allowed to use this color, because it is for moderation purposes, why do non-mods even have the ability to use it? I suggest that, to eliminate confusion, non-mods cannot have the option to use it. Thank you.

I think that's just our convention. The forum software will allow anyone to do it, though personally I find it annoying when people post in all sorts of random colors. Honestly I think this is a bit nit-picky and Moo probably has bigger things to worry about.

Ive never really seen people use purple other than mods.. usually a newbie but someone tells them and problem gets fixed.... so we can leave it as is... its not a major problem.....

The only people who really use colored font are Ayanna and Andysetra...And they use pink and maroon respectively...So I don't see what all the hub-ub is about...It's really not that big of a deal...Peachy is also the only mod that I've seen use the purple...

Oh yeah...And I think someone else uses blue...But my point is, there is like no one that uses purple other than Peachy to make this a big deal to make purple an unusable color...

No, I understand your point. Only one person ever use that color, so what the point of making it unusable when it not that big of a deal.
