How about first just putting those threads in the off topic forum and once there are a lot we can think about making a separate sub forum for it. That's how it's gone with ALL sub forums that were added.

I put it in the same category as the films, there is only so much to talk about with music. Prove us (the people who are against it) wrong! (and not by spamming)

Musical taste is debatable.

I don't really see a reason for a musical sub-forum. Yeah, there's quite a few people her who produce, record, mix or just love music, but it never seems to be a hot topic. And with such a diverse range of musical tastes, I don't see many threads pushing 2 pages of posts.

With that said, I'm actually not against the idea. I'd probably use it myself if it were created. But as it stands right now, there's not much reason for one.
