That would ruin the rep system. The reason I like the rep is that you can give anonymous advice be it good or bad and not have your reputation built up or broken down for it.

I bet not only would you dislike those that neg-repped you. But because of that, you are more reluctant to return the negative rep. This starts a way.

the same will be true for positive. You'll like them them rather than dislike. And you will be more reluctant to give back positive rep to them. Then its all a game of favorites and becoming popular for those who wish to aim to build their rep high.

trying to get rep is like trying to seek for happiness. It won't come if you try to look for it. But let it come naturally.


anyway, I noticed that I can give -2 as well as +2 on rep. I am guessing the pattern is true if you have more rep points. For this reason, I think that regulars should only have 1 point as I feel VIPs and Mods should be responsible enough to use -2 rep. Otherwise, some people might be more susceptible to abuse it.

Well, then you're obviously doing something wrong. People don't just neg-rep each other for shits and giggles. I don't know what you're doing wrong because I'm not familiar with you on the forum. If you want to go up, you should analyze the neg-rep you've received, figure out what you're doing wrong, and be a helpful and productive member of this community.

diapeybabybrian - it is simple. You get positive rep for good things and negative rep for bad things. If you feel the rep is unsuitable, you post in the requests forum and Moo looks over it. If it was indeed unfair this travesty of justice is removed.

If you already had posted about it in the requests forum, then you did deserve it, at least in the eyes of ADISC, this being an autocracy and all. Get over it and try to make better posts. It might seem hard, but it is worth it, if only for the reason people are more willing to talk with you.

Of course you could just leave - but AFAIK you won't find another *BDL community like this. Most of them are worse. People are here for other people. There they are ONLY there for the diapers. So unless that is what you want you'll be alone with you diaperhood. Oh well! Your loss.
