i dont see people tagging threads

i hame been reading a lot of threads
NO TAGS
doesnt that defeat the purpous of having tags
there should be a requirement of a minumum of 3 tags
For example i tag threads ALL THE TIME

You don't have to put tags if you don't want to...They're optional, not required

Honestly, all that fancy-schmancy stuff is too complicated for me. I have no use for tags. I click on a thread if the subject line looks interesting.

I've thought of this recently too. It would would be nice if people started doing that and others didn't just add tags for the heck of it. (Like for instance here: Boring, pointless and an other one I can't even remember.)

The purpose of tags is to be able to look up a specific topic thread to see if it has been posted before, or to see it for interest reasons. I like tags.
