Hi, Just had an idea.

Typical scenario: You post something in a topic, sign off ADISC, and after X amount of time...you sign back on. So, what do you do? You click on the thread where you made that interesting post, and scroll up to where you last posted so that you can read everything in order of response time, working your way back down to present.

Idea: What if you could simply click a button (which would only appear over the threads that you've posted in), that would bring you back to YOUR most recent post?

I thought that'd be kinda cool. Let me know what you think, and if it'd be possible.

Btw, I have a patent pending for this and I want 100% of any and all royalties....Just kidding, have at it.

That would certainly make life easier! (Not that it's that hard the way it is!) But if that were doable and it weren't an arduous task, then please make a feature like this!

Third that. In theory, depending on how the posts/threads database is organized, it shouldn't be that hard. Plus, it'd be nice for those threads that really take off, leaving you to search through a page or 3 to find where to start reading from.

You can already go to the first unread post by clicking on the small down arrow just in front of a thread tittle or when you're already in the post just under the "post reply" button at the top it says: Go to first unread post. That'll take you there too.

diapeybabybrian has a point though. I would prefer to be taken back to my most recent post (last read post) than first unread post.

Why not search for your own posts in the statistics tab of your profile?
It seems really obvious, but it might as well be mentioned. :Z
