Default strangeness with a double post

11 AM GMT I posted this :

It appears something had gone screwy with the second save; it showed as saved but was, in fact, not.

Odd, I've never seen this before. If it happens again, can you leave it as is... and PM me the URL to the posts, so I can check how they are being stored?

sorry, just to clarify... it seems to me the act of deleting the first-laid post was not the same action that deleted both. I manually deleted the first laid post - successfully, including writing its edit/delete comment. The second-laid post appeared to me to be posted (act of initiating the "save post") - and hence the redirect message as "you have dbl-posted the same post within [time frame] - but it disappeared during the "fixing" period and the act of completing its "save post" did not occur.

I have seen this happen when the site stalls/goes down during such a fixing period; one often ends up with a double post.

Note also: the post given up top was in the replacement spot for the disappeared post, but it was not the same post per se; martin was able to post that one to me.
