What has happened to #adisc?

Perhaps the title is a little melodramatic, but seriously, what is going on?

Despite the inevitable differences in opinion concerning the perceived "quality" of chat activity in the IRC channel, and any personal likening or otherwise to any subject being discussed, I don't think it's ever acceptable to tolerate some of the stuff that has been occuring recently, such as:

- Racism, xenophobia, and glorifying genocide
- Turning the place into some sort of miltiaristic fantasy land
- Slandering people who have just died (it's wrong, just STFU whatever your opinion on the subject)

I wish this was a stroke of my imagination, but it's not. I have it all logged "nicely".

1. Show me any racism on Adisc, show me any topics or posts that glorify genocide.

Xenophobia is pretty much built into humanity in general. Of course we are more willing to like people who agree with us and generally not give a shit for the others.

2.Umm who's militaristic on this site? Some people here like miltary uniforms and what not but I ever seen anyone post "let's all join the army and conquer the world!!!!"

3. Slandering happens in general, it's not just subject on adisc.

4. If you ever expected Adisc to be or remain whatever you invisioned it to be. Well everything changes and Adisc is no exception to that.

If you have logs of bad behavior, submit them in the requests forum, using the Chat Mods prefix, and we'll take a look.

Is it really that hard to ignore people? i mean come on if you don't like what some one is saying then ignore them. This is like the third thread to this tune.

Rarely is a mod not around(even if they're not talking) and i'm sure if they saw something bad they would have put a stop to it.

While were on the subject what makes your opinion any more right than the people who are glad mj is dead? hmmm? Just because you don't like to hear it doesn't mean you can tell other people not to say it.

Lets not get into a huge topic on what something is (Refer to the Maturity topic) or isn't. Those of you that were here for the whole Maturity thread, know exactly what I mean. I'll tell you what happened to IRC. All of you on there have gotten poles SO far up all of your asses, that no one can even try to be funny. You know who you are. Everyone is so damn serious that no one can randomly yell "PENIS!" without a mod yelling at Grizzy.
