How far are we allowed to go with explicit content in stories?

The rules say no porn, and that's what we've got to work with.

Porn is this:
1. Sexually explicit pictures, writing, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal.


I'll delete any story that mentions sexual acts in a distasteful way, or is clearly for getting off on.


That's not to say that mention of sexual stuff is disallowed. You see sex on TV all the time and it's not porn. Sex is discussed on this forum in a mature way.

Personally, I have not seen a story that needed deleting except for when people have reported the post (I also skim stories that have bad titles to check everything's above board). These were always clear cut, so I don't think there's a problem.

Writers: If in doubt, post your story in the requests forum first and have mod input. We won't bite your head off.

Readers: If you think a story might be pornographic, report it. We won't bite your head off.

It's quite subjective really, so it's best dealt with, IMO, on a case by case basis. I don't think I could make a hard and fast list of dos and don'ts.

That does not make any sense. For those who are DLs, it is sexual. We get aroused by the fact that someone is in a diaper- and in effect we can surely get off on the story.

The rule should be changed somehow. Though, I am not really sure how. Maybe to just be:

If you have been part of this site for more than a week, you should know what is socially acceptable and what is not for this community. Common sense goes to show that a story in which the people are explicitly having sex and the male and female sexual organs are being hammered on in a sexual manner should not be posted.

For most of the world. Go by a rating of PG13; where a penis and a vagina here and there are acceptable when they are not presented in a nonsexual manner.

A story containing diapers is not "sexually explicit".
That is:
Sexually explicit material (video, photography, creative writing) presents sexual content without obscuring or censoring it. The term is often used as a euphemism for pornography. It includes images and descriptions of nudity, especially genitalia, and unsimulated sex acts.

The scope of "sexually explicit" in the quote applies to all of the rest of the sentence. Porn is NOT just "material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal", it's that PLUS the sexually explicit stuff.

The boundary should be explicit description of sexual activity. For example, the following passage (completely improvised) would be appropriate:

Jordan had a look on her face that told me she wanted only one thing. She inched closer to my face. I could feel her warm breath against me as she untaped my diaper and began massaging me. I just went along with it, seeing as there was not much else that could be done. Before I knew it, everything was over.

See? I just flew through the actual sex part. You know what happened, but I don't spend a lot of time dwelling on it. Making it more explicit would make it inappropriate: (rather obviously, the following is NSFW!)

Jordan had a look on her face that told me she wanted only one thing. She inched closer to my face. I could feel her warm breath against me as she untaped my diaper and began to massage my dick, which quickly became erect. She removed her panties and stuck mine up hers as she began to move in a slow, rhythmic way. (No need to continue, you get my point.)

The first example is written as a plot element; the second is Deeker fap material. It's not always going to be that obvious because you don't have side-by-side comparison.

I think the question every author needs to ask is: is my plot made better by the fact that persons A and B have sex? Or is it just something that happens on the side, without affecting any future events in the story? That should be real the determining factor. Sex should be just like any other decision point in a story: it should have consequences, both positive and negative. It needs to get a character in trouble, cause drama, strengthen a relationship, or satisfy the reader at the end of the story.

I believe sex scenes are fine in a story as long as they are done tastefully.

I think the rule should be along the lines of "If explicit material (read: sex, sexual scenes, nudity, genitalia, etc..) become more than just a factor in a story, it's not appropriate" I do not think a story should revolve, or be all about sex. If it is, it's most likely not appropriate, but I do agree with Charlie in the case to case basis.

I also think you can get the point across that people had sex in a very obscure yet obvious way. I've quoted three sex scenes below, they are mine. One is a rape scene, another is a sexual scene, but not actual itnercoruse, and the last is consensual sex.

“Ssshhhh, Violet, we had a deal.” he told me in a hushed whisper.

“B-b-bu--” I couldn’t finish, my tears choked me, they streamed down my face and were soaked up by the pillow.

He covered my mouth, and I couldn’t protest anymore. If I did live with mom, we could go to the movies, we could go to the mall, I thought to myself as his bony fingers dug into my sides. The headboard hit the wall, and I had to wonder how Grans didn’t hear anything, I knew she was a deep sleeper, but sometimes there was just so much noise that it would be impossible to ignore.

“Now remember Violet,” he said to me while walking away, “we have a deal, and if you break that deal - you know what happens.”

“Pa, please, why - you said - you said last time, it was the last, you said,” I tried to reason in a hoarse whisper.

‘Remember what I said,” he told me in a firm tone, as he walked out of my bedroom, shutting the door softly behind him.

“Daddy,” I said with a warning tone, “We’re in a park.” His fingers through the baby-wipe sent shocks of pure ecstasy through my body. The first I think is really vague and a good example... the last two I think are a good example of an actual sexual story, that just uses different words to get rid of the porn aspect. Now, I'm bias because these are mine, I could be totally off, but I do try to write in a tactful way.

I think that as long you don't go down the deker or DPF route of story telling, you'll be okay. Most on here consider such things to be distasteful/perverted.

The issue with that statement is that deekers stories aren't (for the most part) pure fap material. There are quite a few that don't involve penisses or other such parts...I'm not defending him, he is still a pedophile in my eyes...
