editing posts

is it just me but after you post a message you can edit it but once someone quotes it it can't be edited. Is it Intentional?

Posts that are more than a set time old (IIRC, set to 1-2 days) can't be edited. This is to ensure the integrity of threads. AFAIK, it does not depend on if the post is quoted or not.

Ahh i see when i noticed this it seemd to be quoted posts my mistake.
