Don't point out the obvious that makes you sound ignorant and is always very annoying to me personally I'm not sure about everyone else though. I know however you are not ignorant or annoying but others may not know this.
When responding to someones justified curiosity please try and be a bit more positive towards said curiosity. I was unaware of your health care differences and merely saying it was hard to believe that adult diapers were not provided, and in terms they still are. So forgive my natural human desire to learn and try and be a bit nicer when answering someones questions next time as to not sound ignorant and annoying. I would greatly appreciate not being demeaned. Thank you.
