First off, this post is the first I've heard of anyone claiming him to be marxist, which would probably be untrue since he's a Democrat and Marx was a communist(not a bad system in small-scale, but it does have scalability limits)
Clinton, while I didn't like him as a President, was actually in the process of fixing our economy pretty darn well until Bush messed things up.
The fact is, we picked the wrong time to go to war with Iraq, since the country as a whole isn't mature enough to deal with democracy(I read a comment by a fundamentalist Muslim who basically said he went to America and was appalled that a country as immoral and wicked as us could be in possession of such wealth, and that the Muslims deserve it more. I can't see people with this point of view allowing democracy to flourish). Like I said before, I'm glad we bloodied their noses the way we did, but this is really the wrong time to force Democracy on that part of the world. They're simply not ready for it.
Global warming does in fact exist, but most are divided as to whether it is caused mainly by humans. I'm inclined to believe it is, and as such I'm looking into buying a bicycle(Obama's comment that you can save as much oil by inflating your tires as you can by drilling is ludicrous though. It'll help to be sure, but it's not a significant enough change to equate it with drilling).
My sister actually commented that she thinks he will be assassinated if he gets in office, but I highly doubt it due to the Secret Service. They have a constant vigil and will be able to stop anything short of someone who just happens to be in the right place at the right time.
