If that makes any sense, that is.
Saying this is like saying that Obama shouldn't be a presidential candidate because he's black. Although those are your feelings on Palin (and not ones that I'm going to say anything against, because I understand the nature of your expression), I think they're considerably unfair to future leaders, future voters, and future governmental development. I don't desire to live in a country purely fed off of the execution of primarily masculine politics.

As for being a representative of the GOP, Sarah Palin appears to be a fairly good choice to upkeep the Republican standards that McCain has so desperately been trying to get back to. This race being the bipartisan one that it is, I still think it's important that party-related identities still be recognized. Biden is the solid Democrat of Obama's race; Palin appears to be the solid Republican of McCain's. I think the choices that they made for their VPs were downright brilliant. If you attempt to be far too bipartisan, you're running the risk of losing a whole shitload of supporters, so experimenting with that mindset while still giving hardcore Dems or hardcore GOP supporters the die-hard representatives they want is really, really clever.

I like this Sarah Palin lady. Granted, I don't agree with everything she believes in, but she speaks to my heart as a respectable candidate.

What's for sure is that some aspect of change is certainly on the horizon -- either America will see their first black president, or they'll see their first female vice president. Either way, this is an historic race that I'm excited to see pan out over the next few months.
