Good question!
Here is my response. For potty training and tying my shoes, I cannot remember an exact age. Potty training was learned somewhere around age 3. Tying my shoes was learned by age 5.
I learned to ride a bike without training wheels somewhere around age 7. To this day, I remember how upset I was on the day my training wheels were removed. Right after my failed attempts, little brother (2 years younger) asked for his training wheels to be removed. After only a half an hour, he was riding his little bike very well. For the next month, he rode circles around me as Dad continued to help me learn. My skill with 2 wheels has never come close to little brother's.
