I'm not quite sure where you've read about this certain procedure. I doubt anyone would want to lose continence though. Anyone who wishes to really doesn't know what it's like to be incontinent. I'm not incontinent, and I never want to be. I want to be in control, it's my body after all
. There are fantasies that involve losing control of yourself and where someone else takes care of you. But, it'll never be enjoyable, that's what I'd like to believe. Fantasies don't come true after all, otherwise they wouldn't be fantasies.
Medically seen, the procedure is illegal. Just as illegal as sawing off a healthy leg. Although it's not that hard of a procedure. The muscles that enclose the urine tube are just damaged either by removing them or cutting their nerves off. Still, I do not suggest anyone to destroy a part of their (healthy) body, you only get to live once
